Subspecialty Fellowship

Eligibility Criteria: MS, DNB or equivalent

Duration: 24 months/15 months

 

Academy of Eye Care Education - LVPEI invites applications for Long Term Fellowship in the subspecialties of Cornea and Anterior Segment, Retina & Vitreous, Glaucoma, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Ophthalmic Plastics, Medical Retina & Uveitis, Cataract & Refractive Surgeries (15 months program).

The Subspecialty fellowships are aimed to train budding Ophthalmologists in a subspecialty of their choice.

The program is a very good combination of clinical rotation, research and surgical training.

At the end of the training program, the trainee will be able to:

• Manage all the predominant ailments in the subspecialty independently
• Become an expert in various surgical techniques
• Be able to publish research papers

Comprehensive Ophthalmology Fellowship

Eligibility Criteria: MS, DNB or equivalent

* DO candidates are eligible to apply for 3 years comprehensive Ophthalmology program only

Duration: 36 months

 

This program is a three years course designed with an aim to train the budding Ophthalmologist to become a self sufficient and confident professional.

At the end of the training program, the trainee will be able to:

• Manage a secondary centre independently
• Become an expert in various surgical techniques
• Have the advantage of 13-15 months in subspecialty area
